The Apollo Lab is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who share our enthusiasm for polymicrobial-host interactions, particularly bacterial metabolism, genomics, and/or barrier immunity. Individuals of all backgrounds are welcome to apply, but especially those who are willing to help build a collegial environment that fosters scientific curiosity, rigor, and growth.

Prospective postdocs should email Apollo their CV, a brief description (<1 page) of their research interests and career goals, and contact info for 3 references.

Interested graduate students should email Apollo to discuss potential rotation projects. The lab will soon be able to accept students from the following programs:

  • Molecular Medicine PhD Program (Case Western Reserve University)

  • Biomedical Sciences Training Program (Case Western Reserve University)

  • Regulatory Biology Program (Cleveland State University)

  • Biomedical Sciences Program (Kent State University)

Come join our team and enjoy all that Cleveland has to offer - world-class museums, an extensive park system (not to mention a national one), a world-class orchestrathree professional sports teams, Playhouse Square (a theater district featuring this huge chandelier), a growing foodie and beer scene, nightlife, and even the house from A Christmas Story! Oh, and did anyone mention how affordable it is?
